With the support of the The Organization of Taiwan Education & Cultural, Malaysia, a group of teachers and students from Chung Ling Private High School in Penang visited Asia University in March 2026 to explore business and economics programs and participate in an international academic exchange combining theory and practice.

Chung Ling Private High School is the first secondary school in Southeast Asia to adopt the Cambridge English curriculum. It was awarded a five-star SKIPS certification in 2016 and is ranked among the top private high schools in Malaysia.

According to Ms. Wang Yueh-Ying, Director of the Office of International Affairs, the visit also marks an important step in expanding student recruitment in Malaysia. From January to March, Asia University participated in several education fairs in Malaysia, attracting strong interest from students and parents and successfully encouraging campus visits in Taiwan.

The visit was part of the "2026 Study Tour and Chinese Culture Program," led by Mr. Yeh Han-Wei and Ms. Hung Hsin-Hsuan. On March 25, the group joined a half-day campus program, including a campus tour, university introduction, and department presentations in the College of Management and Social Sciences. Students learned about programs in finance, accounting, business management, and financial law.

Hands-on sessions such as Smart Investment, Financial Data Mining, E-commerce Applications, and a Mock Court were also arranged. These interactive classes allowed students to experience how business education integrates AI and digital technologies.

Asia University has shown strong academic performance in recent years, especially in business and economics, ranking first among private universities in Taiwan. It also promotes interdisciplinary learning by combining AI, semiconductor technology, and healthcare resources.

Student Wang Po-Sen shared, "This visit was very rewarding. I learned about different programs and experienced interesting courses, which increased my interest in studying in Taiwan."

Asia University will continue to strengthen partnerships with Malaysian high schools and promote international exchange, aiming to cultivate globally competitive talent. This visit highlights both Taiwan–Malaysia educational cooperation and Asia University’s strong international appeal.
